It is with great excitement and gratitude that I step into the role of Superintendent for the Tehachapi Unified School District. As an educator with over 25 years of experience, I am honored to join a district with such a rich history and a strong commitment to its students, families, and community.

 

My journey in education began as a mathematics teacher at Wasco High School. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles including Assistant Principal of Athletics and Activities, Principal, and most recently, Assistant Superintendent at McFarland Unified School District. These experiences have shaped my passion for student success and reinforced my belief in the power of public education to transform lives.

 

I am deeply committed to working collaboratively with our dedicated TUSD team inclusive of parents, staff, students, associations, and community partners to ensure every student receives the support, opportunities, and education they deserve. Together, we will build on the district’s strengths and pursue excellence with enthusiasm and unity.

 

My leadership is grounded in the core values of Building Capacity, Collaboration, Servant Leadership, Integrity, and a steadfast commitment to Every Student, Every Day. These values will guide our efforts as we develop a shared vision for the future of Tehachapi Unified School District.
